The proceedings will be printed as A5 report. To increase not only the quality of the contents, but also of the appearence of the proceedings, there are some guidelines for the layout: -------------------------------------------------- - main text should be in 12pt, and picture text of appropriate size Programm code, etc. should also be at least 11pt. (the final report will shrink to A5). - text is organized in one column (NOT two column mode) - the printing area is centered with: - 23.5 cm height, 16 cm width - for A4 format, this means the margins are: - left, right margin 2.5 cm - top margin 2.5 cm - bottom margin 3.7 cm The bottom margin is for the page number and must therefore be free. - title page contains in this order: - centered title - centered author names, company/university, city, country and email - NO date - centered abstract (about 11pt, same font as used for text) - optional: centered list of keywords (style like abstract) - NO table of contents (it may be provided in an extra page at the end) - beginning of text - optional: footnote with project infos, funding, etc. - do not use greyscale pictures (at least not to intensively), as the papers will be copied (and greyscale pictures suffer from that) - for the final version: omit pagenumbering for the submission version: please include pagenumbering - page limits are not really hard - preferrably send the paper as standard A4 PostScript (letter size is quite ok). Word documents will also be accepted, but due to layout differences (or let me say: Word bugs) we would strongly encouarge PostScript for the final version. --------------------------------------------------
